Fall J.L. – Camouflage mit Bioclear

Kleine Camouflage eines rotierten Unterkiefer-Frontzahns (anstatt Derotation mittels Kieferorthopädie).

Nach der ersten Runde hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen, dass die eine Ecke zu tief und der Kontakt zu schmal war, und ich hätte mich jedesmal, wenn ich den Menschen lachen sehe, geärgert über die ungenügende Ästhetik.

Mit Bioclear habe ich diese Problematik lösen können.

Fazit: Bioclear wäre von Anfang an besser gewesen. 🙂

After the first round I did not like how the edge was too low and the contact too thin, and I would have been annoyed over the insufficient esthetics everytime I see this person laugh.

I have solved this problem with Bioclear.

Facit: Bioclear would have been better from the beginning. 🙂

Fall KS – Bioclear Aufbau mit Schlüssel-Technik

Wir ersetzen ein altes, insuffizientes Amalgam mit der Bioclear-Methode. Heute rekonstruieren wir die Wände mit einem zuvor genommenen Schlüssel.

We replace an old, insufficient amalgam with the bioclear method. Today we reconstruct the walls with a previously taken stent.

Fall JF – Karies profunda, aber ohne Wurzelbehandlung :)

«Etwas ist abgebrochen, bitte flicken Sie es!»
Wir bewahren einen tief kariösen Zahn vor einer Wurzelbehandlung – noch. Diese können wir – sollte der Zahn die tiefe Karies nicht überleben – auch durch eine gute Füllung hindurch machen.
Modifizierte Hall Technik (Belassen von Restkaries über der Pulpa als direkte Überkappung) war das Ziel, die Präparation war jedoch sondenhart.
Präpariert wurde zweihändig, mit dem Zeigefinger der linken Hand auf dem Kopf des Winkelstücks zum genauen Erfühlen der Zahnsubstanz.

She had been informed, that a RCT might become necessary, that I will try the modified Hall technique (leave residual carious tissue over the pulp as a natural pulp capping) before anything else before though, and that a RCT can always be done through a good filling.
I had my office-afternoon, so I decided to do something cool for the end of my patient-morning and worked a little longer.
What you see after preparation is hard on probing. I excavated very slowly, no air, right hand holding the handpiece, left hand holding it’s head stable with the left index finger on the handpiece’s head to thoroughly feel what I had underneath.

Fall SW – Bioclear-Overlay

Wir ersetzen eine Kunststofffüllung, die nach alten  (Amalgam-)Präparations- und Füllungstechniken gelegt wurde. Symptome (Schmerzen beim Beissen) liessen auf Frakturbeschwerden schliessen, handelten sich wahrscheinlich jedoch eher um Bondingfehler.

We replace a composite that had been placed with old (amalgam) preparation and filling techniques. The symptoms (pain on biting) let us think of a fracture, but there was more likely a bonding error.

Fall WZ – Wurzelkaries

Eigentlich wollten wir nur die Amalgamfüllung auswechseln… Doch dann haben wir eine Wurzelkaries entdeckt.

Originally we only wanted to exchange the amalgam… But then we have discovered a root caries.

Fall HPG – Bioclear

Ein weiterer Fall von heroischer Füllungstherapie… Der 5er war extrem schwierig und zeitaufwändig. Prognose unklar.

Fall B.S. – direktes Veneer

Die Patientin stört sich an der Ästhetik des Zahns 11 – dem letzten natürlichen Zahn der oberen Front. Wir haben uns für die einfachste Variante – einem direkten Veneer aus Komposit – entschlossen. Vielen Dank für die Erlaubnis zur Publikation
