Mein kleiner Patient ist auf der Treppe gestürzt. Notfallmässig haben wir den zerbrochenen Zahn wieder aufgebaut. Dank des geistesgegenwärtigen Lehrers, der die eine Ecke gefunden und in einer SOS-Box gelagert hatte, konnten wir die Länge und die Neigung des ursprünglichen Zahns rekonstruieren.
Der Nerv (Pulpa) hat durchgeschimmert – wir hoffen, dass der junge Zahn diesen schweren Unfall überlebt … Er kann jederzeit absterben, was weitere Therapien (Wurzelbehandlung, Krone, Implantat etc. …) nach sich ziehen wird. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, diese Abwärtsspirale so lange wie möglich hinauszuzögern.
An Accident (case of M.B.)
My little patient fell down the stairs. In an emergency appointment we have reconstructed the fractured tooth. Thanks to the teacher, who had found one edge and put it into an SOS-box, we were able to assess the length and the inclination of the tooth.
The nerve (pulp) was shining through – we hope that this young tooth survives this accident … It can devitalize anytime, which would ask for further therapies (root canal treatment, crown, implant etc. …). Our task is, to slow down the process as long as possible.
